Old School
A group of US senior citizens on tour in Costa Rica fought off three attackers that tried to hold up their bus. Two of the assailants were sent running, while the third, a man in his twenties, was killed after a skirmish with a seventy year old retired US military man.
According to the report, "...a retired member of the U.S. military aged about 70 — put assailant Warner Segura in a head lock and broke his clavicle after the 20-year-old and two other men armed with a knife and gun held up their tour bus Wednesday."
To add insult to injury (or death in this case), the bus then drove the assailant to the nearby Red Cross station where he was pronounced dead. One of the seniors had to be treated for an anxiety attack.
This is again a demonstration of why they are called "the greatest generation". We should learn from our elders, and the lesson here is, "mess with the best and die like the rest" (more or less).

Mess with the best and die like the test! LOL I haven't heard that before. Great story.
I love hearing stories like this! There was a story up here recently where someone tried to hold up a convenience store and the elderly man running it beat the guy off with a cane.
